2020, 2021 and 2022 wRVU Variance Calculator

This tool allows you to calculate the work RVU (wRVU) impact — based on the CPT® code and volume for an individual provider or a combined group of providers — from 2020 wRVU values to 2021 and 2022 wRVU values.

Update: The latest version of this calculator allows you to upload a large number of providers at one time and check against the 2022 final rule fee schedule following the December 2021 legislative update that appropriated money to the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (PFS). The revised conversion factor for CY 2022 is reflected in this tool.

Using the Data Entry tab within the tool, you can enter specific HCPCS/CPT codes, the volume of those codes and any applicable modifier. (Note: You are limited to entering a 26, 53 or TC modifier only, as those are the specific codes with alternate wRVU values in the CMS fee schedule).

Once those elements are inputted, the Summary tab will display your results.
