Member Resource Groups Live

Resource Groups are a great way to find and connect with MGMA members like you.

MGMA is here to support you in your unique needs and help you connect with people like you. Based on the tremendous success of MGMA's resource groups in-person at Leaders conference, MGMA is now offering quarterly online resource group meet ups. Groups will meet online using Zoom. Sessions are confidential — they will not be recorded or redistributed.

Advancing the business of healthcare requires empowering and supporting all individuals who drive its success. MGMA Resource Groups offer inclusive networking spaces where members with shared demographics and/or experiences can connect. These meetings foster peer-to-peer support and are designed to address the unique needs of each group, creating a collaborative and supportive environment for everyone involved.

Participants in Member Resource Groups Live are eligible for additional ACMPE continuing education. Each full session attended may be claimed for 1.00 ACMPE CE hour as a Live Webinar/Seminar from MGMA Resources as the session source.

Later Careerist Healthcare Leaders

A community of individuals who have been in healthcare for more than 10 years. This group of mid-senior-level individuals supports each other by discussing topics like leadership, succession planning, and burnout.

NEXT MEETING: Tuesday, April 8th at 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time

This meeting will focus on burnout and provide MGMA resources for the top areas of discussion in our first meeting. Questions and conversation are encouraged throughout the call.

Early Careerist Healthcare Leaders

A dynamic community helping early careerists navigate career transitions and growth through professional development, mentorship, and cross-disciplinary networking opportunities. MGMA defines early careerists as those who are in their first 5-7 years working in healthcare. 

NEXT MEETING: Thursday, April 10th at 1:30 p.m. Mountain Time

This meeting will focus on career and leadership development. Topics include setting goals and professional development through AI, ensuring goals are tangible, and strategies for leadership development. Questions and conversation are encouraged throughout the call.

LGBTQIA+ Healthcare Leaders

LGBTQIA+ & Allies Healthcare Leaders Network is a network of LGBTQIA+ healthcare leaders and their allies, united by a shared commitment to diversity, mentorship, and advocacy in the healthcare industry. The group provides a forum for exploring LGBTQIA+ topics, sharing resources, and building meaningful connections. Through networking and mentorship opportunities, this group empowers its members to drive meaningful change and create a more inclusive healthcare system.

NEXT MEETING: Thursday, April 17th at 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time

This meeting will focus on current LGBTQIA+ issues in healthcare, as well as networking and peer-to-peer support. Guest speaker, Jessica Ellis-Wilson, FACMPE, will share guidance on the LGBTQIA+ healthcare environment in 2025. 

Women Healthcare Leaders

Welcome to Women Leaders in Healthcare - a dynamic community dedicated to empowering and elevating women in the healthcare sector. Together, we will build connections, exchange knowledge, and support each other on our paths to leadership. Through engaging sessions, we’ll focus on networking, education and celebrating the unique strengths that women bring to healthcare leadership. Whether you seek personal growth, inspire or be inspired, this is your space to thrive!

This community of Asian American and Pacific Islander healthcare leaders focuses on networking, support, and mentorship.

This meeting will focus on current issues the AAPI community is facing. A guest speaker will be joining the hosts to dive deeper into issues and solutions. Questions and conversation are encouraged throughout the call.

Latinx and Hispanic Healthcare Leaders

This community is a vibrant and inclusive space dedicated to celebrating and supporting the Latinx leadership community. Our mission is to empower Latinx individuals, build community, and focus on advocacy and education for our community.

This meeting will focus on current issues the Hispanic and Latinx community are facing, as well as information regarding mentorship vs. sponsorship. Questions and conversation are encouraged throughout the call.

Black Healthcare Leaders

This community of Black and/or African American healthcare leaders focuses on networking, support, and mentorship.
