The Medical Group Management Association’s MGMA Stat poll asked healthcare professionals to describe if their organizations were planning to add new service lines in FY17. More than half of the respondents indicated their organizations would add or expand service lines with 37.18 percent stating they would add new service lines and 15.00 percent planning to expand existing services. Only 28.93 percent indicated they would not expand services and 15.00 percent responded they were unsure of their organizations’ plans.
The poll was conducted on February 7, 2017 and reported responses from 1127 healthcare professionals.
