Joe Aguilar has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare valuation and consulting.  As the managing partner at HMS Valuation Partners, he specializes in physician-hospital transactions and provider compensation design.

With thousands of fair market value engagements completed, Joe advises healthcare executives, physicians, and attorneys on navigating complex financial arrangements. In addition to his experience in valuation, he brings 20 years of clinical experience as a nurse practitioner in family medicine and women’s health.  His deep understanding of both medicine and financial processes allows him to bridge the gap between clinical and business considerations, facilitating informed decision-making and productive conversations with providers.
