The ACMPE Scholarship Fund Inc. (SFI) is a program that supports individuals who, by virtue of experience, current position and future career plans, demonstrate potential to contribute to MGMA's mission of transforming healthcare.

2024 applications are now closed and will open in March for the 2025-2026 academic year.

2025 Grant Information

Grant Name: Richardson-Sargent Memorial Fund Grants 

Made possible by a donation from the family of A. Leslie Richardson

2024 Amount: $3,000

Requirements: Individuals seeking or recently completed requirements of Fellowship through ACMPE currently working in healthcare leadership or medical practice management. 

Grant funds are encouraged to be applied to application costs, and conference attendance for the year of Fellowship recognition. 

Funds may also be applied to professional development and continuing education through attendance at conferences, workshops, and seminars sponsored by nationally recognized professional associations or accredited colleges or universities, or by pursuing a course of relevant study at an accredited college or university.

2025 Grant Eligibility

You must be Board Certified through the ACMPE with an active Fellowship application to apply*. Applications will be considered if the following grant eligibility requirements are met:

• Current resume.
• Two reference letters that pertain to your application and signed by the referee.
• Currently working in healthcare leadership or medical practice management.
• Board Certified through ACMPE in active and good standing.
• Current and active application towards ACMPE Fellowship with understanding of completion within two years of application purchase date. 
• If you are currently a Fellow of ACMPE, completion date must be on or after October 1, 2023.
• *If application towards ACMPE Fellowship not yet purchased to apply grant funds, must agree to apply within one year of awarded funds received.
