    The processes of dictation and transcription have been integral parts of the practice of pathology, among other medical specialties, since the introduction of cassette recording devices. Over the years advances in technology have modified these processes and opened the door for increased efficiencies. This case study examines one pathology groups investigation of voice-to-text solutions as a possible means of decreasing overall practice costs.
