GovChat: Unwinding of the PHE FAQ

On May 11, 2023, the declared COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE) came to an end, bringing changes to many federal policies established during the pandemic. MGMA held an online GovChat Live event on April 10, 2023, to proactively inform members about flexibility expiration timelines, and which policies will be made permanent. This resource contains some of the more frequently asked questions that came from that conversation. The Biden administration will continue to provide updated guidance in the coming months.
