Re: Ways and Means Committee hearing on Medicare payment cuts
Dear Chairman Neal and Ranking Member Brady,
On behalf of our member medical group practices, the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) writes to encourage you to schedule a full Ways and Means Committee hearing on issues related to the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) and the impending cuts to Medicare slated to go into effect on Jan. 1, 2022. We are hopeful that the Committee can examine and prevent the payment cuts set to take effect next year, thereby protecting Medicare beneficiaries’ access to high-quality care.
