    Jacki Jacox has more than a decade of experience in public and private accounting. She manages and executes fair market value and commercially reasonable provider compensation opinions, physician-owned practice buy-in or buy-out valuations, clinical practice management and accounting, provider relief fund reporting and Single Audits, management services organization start-ups and administrative fee valuations, fee schedule analyses, health plan financial statement analyses, projections, and application filings under the Knox-Keene regulations. She also has substantial experience with due diligence and business valuations for healthcare mergers and acquisitions, financial risk and SOX internal control reviews, financial statement audits, state cost allocation compilations, benefit plan audits, and a variety of other consulting and financial advisory services.

    Jacki is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, National Society of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants, Healthcare Financial Management Association, Health Care Compliance Association, and American Health Law Association. She served as a member and co-chair of the School of Accountancy Junior Advisory Board at University of Nebraska–Lincoln for six years before her term was completed in April 2019. In 2021, she was elected to the board of directors for the Omaha Academy of Ballet and currently serves as treasurer.

    Jacki is a graduate with high distinction of University of Nebraska–Lincoln, with a B.S. degree in accounting and minors in economics and communication studies and an M.P.A. degree.

    Marc Lion provides tax, estate, financial, and retirement planning services to high-net-worth individuals and business owners in the healthcare, investment banking, real estate, and professional services industries. His more than 30 years of public accounting experience span a range of tax, personal finance, business advisory, and practice management expertise. Often invited to speak to medical societies and healthcare groups, he has served as an adjunct healthcare economics professor in Hofstra University’s master of healthcare administration program.

    Prior to joining Forvis Mazars in 2016, after working independently for more than 20 years, Marc in 1996 founded a full-service accounting and consulting practice specializing in taxation for individuals, corporations, trusts, partnerships, and estates. He also was a supervisor at an international firm’s personal financial services group before moving to another regional firm. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, The National CPA Health Care Advisors Association (former president), and National Society of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants.

    Marc is a graduate of University at Albany, New York, with a B.S. degree in economics, and a graduate of Hofstra University, Hempstead, New York, with an M.B.A. degree in accountancy and taxation.
