(MGMA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Todd Prescott, EMBA, PHR, as Vice President of Human Resources. With extensive experience in Human Resources and leadership in fast-paced environments, Prescott brings specialized expertise in meeting business needs with a people-focused approach.
As Vice President of Human Resources, he is responsible for developing and leading employee performance management and training strategies, cultivating a robust talent structure and applying initiatives that directly impact the strategic direction of MGMA.

Prior to MGMA, Prescott was with National Jewish Hospital (NJH) in Denver, first as director of human resources overseeing all HR operations, employee relations, organizational development, learning and development, policies and procedures, diversity and inclusion and data and metrics. He was instrumental in developing new programs for NJH that focused on enhancing leadership, education, engagement and team building. He also served as director of satellite clinic operations at NJH, where he led all off-site operations. In these roles, Prescott worked with medical practices by managing many practice managers, contributors and providers.
Prior to joining NJH, Prescott served as people services field manager at DaVita Healthcare Partners for Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico, Arizona, Louisiana and Texas, where he supported a region totaling more than 1,600 employees. He also served as people services manager for the Domestic Mergers and Acquisitions group, where he was responsible for HR due diligence and integration of the DaVita acquisitions and divestitures. Previous leadership roles held by Prescott include HR contractor at American Residential Communities and HR business partner and recruiting manager for Fiserv Investment Support Services.
Prescott holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Viterbo College in La Crosse, Wisconsin and an EMBA from Colorado State University.
